If you don't get the regular W2, then you fill in all the details that you know are correct and submit it along with your tax filings saying that you asked your employer to issue you the W2/Correct W2 with all the Pay info, but since he didn't give you the correct W2 your are using a non standard W2. IF u google it I am sure u will find it.
Its better to have pay stubs for all the time that you are on H1 to avoid future problems.

A naive question: why post 2004 -is there a reasoning behind that or is it just an arbit cutoff date for sake of discussion? I am just being selfish here (my PD is Dec 2004).

I didn't read the RFE but the lawyer said they have requested for Audited Financial Statements which my company does not have.
When my I-140 was filed, I was given the option to either provide 1. Audited Financial Statements or; 2) Company Tax Return.
As my employer didn't have audited financial statements, my company submitted the most recent company tax return with the I-140.

On my monitor it looks too grey and washed out... I guess what this shows is there is a big difference in monitors, the printed product is perhaps what counts in the end. I've been thinking of replacing my monitors, they are getting old and I can't get them quite right according to the Eye One calibration software.

You have no other option except to wait in Toronto. If the consulate decides to issue visa, then there is no need to go to stamping in India as they will issue the visa themselves.

Hello IV friends,
My PD is May 2008 and currently i have an approved i-140. I have been wanting to change my job but always been scared of the impact on my GC processing as i heard if i change my job prior to filing for I-485 (which i cannot as the PD is not current), i would have start the process all over again. What are my options here? Thanks in advance.

We should instead call it "When will EB Reform Happen"
1. The best time was 2006. This was becasue of economy with full swing ahead needed more H1B visas and companies are trying hard to resolve the black-out of H1B and we had a chance to piggyback on it. This didn't happen unfortulately because our fate was tied to CIR. There has been constant effort since Aug/Sep 2005 to increase H1B/EB (S.1932/CIR), but it has been strongest in last few months.
2. If you have noticed the press release of TechNet summit it was clearly requesting 109th congress to enact SKIL as opposed to 110 congress. This is becasue first few months will go by just to take care of other priorities. There could be other legilative hurdles with CIR even with Democratic majority.
3. As pointed by others even if CIR is passed with our provisions it will be another 5-6 months before actual implementation will happen. That puts eveything in 2008 time frame.
The biggest toll order in this whole mess is EB2 India. While most of the world including China is moving along quite well. India EB2 is all but stuck affecting the careers of so many who would be stuck for another 1-2 years with the same jobs. The sad part is this is the best case scenario !!!!

My wife's H1 is valid until 2009. We have to travel to Canada very soon and she will return on AP (EAD approved). Can she continue on H1 for the sponsoring company as it is or any amendment/filing has to be done to regain the H1 status. I dont want her to switch to EAD (just in case things go wrong down the lane)

and I have an offer as a Database Administrator.
If I look for onetcenter I am not seeing a direct code for "Programmer Analyst" but I see
a) 15-1051.00 Computer Systems Analysts
Sample of reported job titles: Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Computer Systems Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, Computer Specialist, Computer Systems Analyst, Data Processing Systems Analyst, Information Technology Consultant (IT Consultant), Information Technology Specialist

Take a copy of your I140 approval atleast. It is just a sheet of paper when you go for stamping. Sometimes your lawyer can give you a copy of I140 filed papers. This will have information on your company's financials etc.

If possible, try to get hospital record of live birth. Though it is not birth certificate, it may be used as secondary evidence.
well i m trying to get the bc of my wife and i m afraid that the date of "registration of birth" will be of this year as she is getting her bc this year only. so in order to back it up i m getting the affedevits from her parents. thats y i asked that will it b OK if i get the affedevits from ABC city where her parents reside currentlty or do i have to get the affedevit from the city where she was born.
pls. note no matter from where we make the affedevits it will say that she was born in xyz city.
i m not sure does it mke any diffrence if we get the affedevits from abc city.

You applied at the right service center TSC. I also live in NC and applied on July 25th at TSC and got the Receipt notices.
Did you check the processing dates for TSC for I765? I think currently they are processing applications applied before April 16, 2008.
So dont worry.. But you may call TSC Service center for any status
